Web developer
Position Description:
Web developer will program small, medium, and large size web sites. You do not need graphic design experience, as you will be provided with all the necessary graphics in JPEG or GIF format. Needs to know how to program from start to finish, including site optimization and maintenance. Will build simple web sites as well as complex web sites with databases, dynamic content, etc. Duration:three months. Full-time potential.
Required Qualifications:
-- Proficient in HTML, DTHML, XHTML, CSS, PHP 4/5, ASP & .NET and _Javascript.
-- Should have good understanding of relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc.).
-- Should be able to build websites according to layouts designed by our graphic designer.
-- Must have some working knowledge of change management and document management
-- Must be reliable, honest, and deadline oriented.

Freelance designer/Production artist
Description:
We are looking to hire an independent contractor who will take on the assignments and finish them according to our guidelines. Pay will be discussed at the time of hire and is DOE. Duration: three months to a year. Full-time potential.

Production Artist/Graphic Design internship
Description:
We are looking for a Production Artist/Graphic Design Intern to help us out with smaller projects. Full or Part-time internship position with flexible hours. Will be working off site. Unpaid, but commission and/or bonuses may be available upon successful completion of projects. Duration: one to six months. Full-time potential. Qualifications:
Must be in a graphic design program at an accredited college or university. Must know or willing to learn and master pre-press file preparation and 4-color process. Will be working on print projects 80% of the time. Must be able to take ready design sketches and prepare them for print. This may include calling the printing agencies and figuring out their needs. Needs to be communicative and responsible individual. Other responsibilities will include trade show planning and assistance, market research, direct mail and promotional products research and distribution. May be asked to design flyers, brochure or postcards for USgraphix and its clients. There may be some web/animation and/or 3-D projects.
